60 minute timer
A full hour on the clock. For exams, long bakes, meetings and deep-work blocks — set it running and let the alarm call time.
Ready

When the time is up you hear three beeps and the tab title flashes — no account, nothing to install.
What a 60 minute timer is good for
- A one-hour exam or mock-test paper
- Long bakes, slow roasts and bread proofing
- Keeping a meeting to its scheduled hour
- A deep-work block with notifications off
- An hour of instrument or language practice
Like every timer on this site, this countdown is computed from timestamps rather than counted ticks, so it ends on time even if the tab sits in the background — the alarm still sounds the moment you bring the tab forward, and the title keeps flashing until you do. Need a different length? Use the full countdown timer to set any duration, or pick another preset: 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 25 minutes, 30 minutes.
Frequently asked questions
- Does an hour-long timer drain the battery or slow the page?
- No. The page does almost no work between screen refreshes, and the maths per refresh is a single subtraction.
- What if my computer sleeps?
- A sleeping computer cannot play the alarm on time. The countdown is still correct when the machine wakes — it will show time’s up and sound then — but for a wake-up call use a device that stays awake.
